This may be for the newbies, the oldies (I don't mean age) but goodies that have been here a while know what is needed.

Girls we are guys we like to see pics. To me there is reason to put your ad in the Welcome or Provider section with out some pics (current pics please) being on this site. I also like to see some form of review, I understand that you may not have reviews if you are new. But, read the info provided at the top of each forum helping you with what the mods want to see.

Guys come on there are reviews that you can get an idea of how to review a provider. Don't waste our time and discredit the girls with weak reviews. It is real easy to read and understand what is required.

Sorry - my turn to rant. Sorry if I have offended anyone!!

Actually, there are many reasons why a new lady (not a VP) would not post a pic in her Welcome Thread.

She may not know how.
She is very new to the hobby and wishes to enter this world slowly.
Is getting fed up by the constant requests for pics.
Does not want to make her image public (once on the internet, who knows where that image will end up).

It doesn't matter how much it will benefit their business. No one can force a lady to do something that she does NOT want to do.

Gents, we must be respectful of everyone's privacy. You wouldn't send a picture of yourself to a stranger without hesitation, or post a scandalous pic on a site such as this one, would you?

We all know they want to be private. As can be seen on most of pics on this site.

The above was my opinion if they want to get a reaction from some of us they need to put some pics and get some reviews. I do not go in BLIND. If they do not want their info out there don't get on this site!!!!

And if you don't want to see Providers without pics don't see one. Choose one of the local 207 that do have pics. See how that works?

JJ is right. There are ladies who believe there privacy/security is paramount and therefor do not choose to post pictures, even some VP's. Some of these ladies may make pictures available through private means. Some may not.

I can understand you not wanting to go in blind. Just move on to someone who will provide you what you want for you to make a decision. There is no need to rant about the ones who won't. Especially in the Welcome/Introductions forum.

It is as I have always stated...

The ladies may run their business as they see fit. The guys may choose who they wish to see. It is really just that simple. Throwing a tantrum about it (which is exactly what it appears you are doing with the part of your post I highlighted) will not change anything and I am quite sure that no lady wants a crybaby as a client.

Travelerman, I understand when a girl is new and her showcase in not set up yet, then yes, a picture in her Welcome ad would indeed be nice to view. However, to expect an established provider to put a picture in EVERY weekly ad and weekend line up ad plus having her showcase up is asking a bit much. If you're that interested in a provider then do your due diligence and take the few seconds it takes to navigate to her showcase and browse away. Now, if she has zero pics in her showcase and never posts pics nor does she send a pic privately, then I definitely see your frustration with the situation.
