Default summer seasonals.... what are your favorites?

Summer is my favorite time of year for seasonal beer. I've been upping my beer collection and this summer I've been focusing on trying as many different seasonals as I can. Here are some of my favs so far. You guys have any recommendations?

OMG! Just tried the SHiner Ruby Red the other day. It is fantastic! My favorite regular beer is Shiner Black Bohemian.

Red bird is my fave has been for a few years when I first saw it. Two years ago it seemed to have more grapefruit taste then it does now, still very good. Other then that one so far I haven't been that into seasonal beer. Today I'm drinking boddingtons cream ale but that ain't seasonal. If you don't know trader joe lets you take any beer out of a six pack you want. So if its new and you ain't tried it just pick one up. Much better then Kroger, they already picked what you can have.

How did you like that summer shandy babe? We gotta get together and down some brews.

Yes we do my love. The shandy was very good. Refreshing and lemony without being too tart. I had a couple by the pool the other day and it was very smooth and mellow, not heavy at all. I've been looking for some other shandies to try. I'll make a trip to Specs just for us.

Most of the other creams I've tried don't do it for me. I love boddingtons though, it comes in a four pack like Guinness in the pint cans has the same widget and all that good stuff.

I hae some of the Sierra Nevada summerfest beer in the fridge, not bad.
I like my IPA and APAs.
When traveling, I always ask for the local beer and try out what they have.
Texas is finally getting to apoint where the little guy can put out some decent brews.
Had a Fort Ben IPA at Texas Land and Cattle the other day. It was pretty good but was one that you sipped rather than drank quickly.
I really like head except on my beer.

Last year, Shiner had a Prickly Pear brew in their Family Reunion pack. Wish they would bring that one back. I was skeptical, but it was surprisingly good!

The Sierra Nevada was okay but it's kinda one note.... It doesn't that rich taste that I look for in beers. Regardless of what gives it it's distinct flavor whether it be the hops or the barley, or fruit, I want it to have a palatte.

So now I have a several new brews on my to do list. I have a question for those who like beer: Bottle or can? What is your preference?
