As for your friend... first thing is first, have her join the site.
You can even vouch for her although I think she would also need a website, recent ads or reviews to get VP status but it all starts with joining the site first.

That way we all can get to know her and she can post her own photos.
because it really depends on what mood the fun police are in on rather or not you posting her photos would be against the guidelines.
