Hola!!
I hope that everyone has been having a WONDERFUL SUMMER!! First, let me apologize for the delay in my replies regarding pm's, emails, reference checks etc... I was trying very hard to stay caught up on everything while on VACATION... However, since this was my first vacation in FIVE YEARS!! I ask that you FORGIVE me... if I was not able to get back with you in a timely manner...
However, I thought that ya'll might enjoy hearing about some of my adventures these last 10 days... First off, I would like to say... that while I HATED BEING MARRIED TO MY EX... I REALLY MISSED HIM during my 14 hour drive to Destin!! Lol... Luckily for me... my children are not TODDLERS... However, not having someone to SHARE THE DRIVING CHORE can really take it's toll on a body...
We left at 3:30am in the morning and pulled into Destin, Florida around 7:00pm... Due to the size of my RIDICULOUSLY SMALL BLADDER... Lol... and the need for me to let the ANIMALS (my children) OUT of the vehicle for short periods of time... So, that I WAS NOT TEMPTED TO KILL THEM!! This resulted in a bit of delay in our arrival...
We were THRILLED with our accommodations and while it was raining on our first day of travel... the rest of the days were just PERFECT!! So, what does your LITTLE SLAVE like to do at the BEACH?
Well, personally I had HIGH HOPES of laying my EXHAUSTED TUCKUS on the sand... while I enjoyed a good book... and the VIEW of some HOT MEN!! Lol... However, my MUNCHKINS were of a DIFFERENT MIND SET!! Giggle... Sigh....
INITIALLY, we had plans to go PARASAILING... However, there was a rather NASTY ACCIDENT in PANAMA CITY in July... that involved two young teenage girls... and after hearing about THAT... we opted to do the next best thing...
OUR FIRST ADVENTURE:
Boogie Boarding!! Have any of you tried this before? Lol... I swear to GOODNESS!! This looks MUCH EASIER from the BEACH!! We had some rather rough SURF while we were there... So, we were playing in RED FLAG conditions for our first 3 days... So, lets just say that trying to get you and your boogie board out far enough from the shore took QUITE A BIT OF ENERGY!! After about 2 hours of this type of play... My munchkins found me HALF ASLEEP on my BOOGIE BOARD... BEACHED ON THE SAND LIKE A HUGE WHALE...and as they tried to PUSH & PULL me BACK OUT INTO THE WATER... I laughingly pulled them down... and tickled them UNMERCIFULLY!!
You have to understand that the WIND at the beach was also quite BRUTAL... So, even WALKING with the BOOGIE BOARDS took a great deal of strength and effort... and so, after about 4 hours of total play... We GRATEFULLY retired to our peaceful condo on the golf course...
OUR SECOND ADVENTURE:
So, I have never had ANY DESIRE to learn how to SURF!! However, while I was at the emergency clinic.... Sigh, yes... it would seem that I have a need to visit ALL OF THE URGENT CARE CLINICS when I visit a new city... Lol... Anyway, we met the NICEST DOCTOR... and after she got me all fixed up... she recommended that we try SURFING...
NOW... I saw JAWS when I was around 8 years old... and ever since then... I have been PETRIFIED of the OCEAN!! Lol... However, my munchkins are VERY ACTIVE and I am not the sort of MOMMY to let them do these things alone... So, here we go...
Let's just say... that I have a NEW RESPECT FOR SURFERS!! This has to be one of the TOUGHEST SPORTS that I have EVER TRIED!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! I was not expecting to even ENJOY our 1 hour surfing lesson..
However, the instructors were SUPER HOT!! What can I say... we girls like EYE CANDY AS WELL!! Lol... and they were VERY PATIENT with both myself and my munchkins as we struggled to learn how to POP UP ON THE BOARD!! Fyi... my MUNCHKINS had quite a bit of fun LAUGHING AT MY POP UPS!! My ARMS are NOT my best feature...
However, what I lack in strength... I made up for with BALANCE!! I was a gymnast and cheerleader for many years... and APPARENTLY, those things never leave you!! While I quickly crashed on my first try... I was UP ON THE BOARD by the SECOND try... and by the THIRD TRY... I was SURFING ALL THE WAY TO THE BEACH!!
I will tell you this... there is only one other sport that has captured my interest... this quickly... and that is CYCLING!! Surfing is a WHOLE BODY SPORT... Meaning every part of you needs to be engaged in order for you to surf successfully... and I LOVE THAT!!
We ended up surfing 2 days in a row... and it was DEFINITELY the HIGHLIGHT of our vacation!! I have to say... I think that we were just supposed to have ONE INSTRUCTOR for our mini group lesson... BUT SOMEHOW... we ended up with THREE & FOUR INSTRUCTORS each day... Lol... Hmmm.... It might be because I wore my GREEN BIKINI the FIRST DAY... and my RED BIKINI on DAY TWO!! LOL...
On SEVERAL occasions I was STARTLED to realize that there were PEDESTRIANS on the BEACH taking PHOTOS of me on the SURFBOARD!! Since, I am rather introverted.... this shook me up a bit... So, I QUICKLY put my BOARD back into the water... and decided to take my chances with the SHARKS!!
For the rest of the vacation... we simply enjoyed each other... we would walk on the beach... play in the water... boogie boarded some more... went to the movies.... and just in general... we enjoyed our time together...
FUNNIEST MOMENT ON OUR VACATION:
This occurred LAST NIGHT as my munchkins and I were UNPACKING the car... My oldest munchkin was carrying my HUGE DUCATI SUITCASE... inside my luggage... were TWO HIDDEN ADULT TOYS... Lol... For those of you who know me... For me to only take TWO TOYS... I was REALLY ROUGHING IT!!
ANYWAY... as I walk into our apartment... my child is HALF-WAY UP THE STAIRS...laying PRONE on top of my LUGGAGE...and LAUGHING HYSTERICALLY!! OMG!! BOTH OF MY TOYS WERE ON... AND IT SOUNDED LIKE HE WAS LAYING ON A LAWN MOWER!! LOL...
In between GIGGLES...My child goes "MOM!! Why is your luggage VIBRATING?!?" At this point my face was as bright as my new PINK BIKINI!! However, I did not MISS A BEAT!! I told BOTH of my MUNCHKINs that their mother had NEEDS!! Lol... and to get that BAG UP TO MY ROOM BEFORE THE BATTERIES RAN OUT!!
Lol.... Let's just say... that my children OFFICIALLY think that their MOTHER has lost HER DAMN MIND!!
Sigh...
Now... on to the business portion of my thread... I am back... and so, all day today... in between running errands... I will be returning emails, reference requests etc... I have posted my new ad for the week which does include my CALENDAR, SPECIALS FOR THE WEEK and NEW PHOTOS of me wearing a HOT PINK BIKINI!!
I look forward to hearing from everyone... in regards to your summer excitement... and any FAMILY or HOBBY FUNNIES that you would like to share... I have HONESTLY and SINCERELY missed both the hobbyists and the providers of ECCIE while I was on vacation... and I look forward to seeing everyone soon!!

For anyone looking to improve their abs... I would HIGHLY recommend a few weeks of SURFING!! Mine toned up in just a few days of lessons!!
