North Korea said Monday it will suspend operations at a factory complex it has jointly run with South Korea, pulling out more than 53,000 North Korean workers and moving closer to severing its last economic link with its rival as tensions escalate.
So I have to ask have you made amends if the world is going to end?
What is the item on your bucket list you would want to complete?
My amends is for all the lies I have said over the years both little and large that hurt others...
My one item would be to have an international female sex fest, a lady from as many diverse cultures I could located in our great city for a whip cream orgy

Not just that, he thinks a war with NK could end the world. It will definitely end Kim Jong-Uns world and hurt South Korea pretty bad but not much else.

The North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is a narcissistic self absorbed little brat who is just trying to intimidate the South Korea and the West. What this dictator needs is a good azz whipping, that will give him a big dose of reality because he thinks he is some kind of god. For example, the last time his father Kim Jong II visited Russia...the North Korean media announced that their Dear Leader impressed the Russians with his godlike abilities to make it rain in the heavens...on a dry sunny day.

North Korea is also a militarily pathetic country and it is unclear whether any war they launch would last even a week (if that) before they militarily cease to exist. The real problem is that the only real "power" they have is that within the first hour of launching a war they can rain probably hundreds of thousands of artillery shells on Seoul - one of the most densely populated cities in the world. In a surprise strike this would kill at least a 100,000 is not many hundreds of thousands of people. In a short time after that every offensive capability they have would rapidly be destroyed but that alone is enough damage to make South Korea and the US wary of them. That would be a pyrrhic victory indeed. Especially since South Koreans really have no animosity towards the North and really have no desire to kill their brethren just because they have a nutjob leader.
At this stage it is completely unclear what to do about Kim. He has built the capability to blackmail the world and there are not many ways to hurt him. Sanctions do not work well against regimes that don't have a problem with starving their people.
Maybe MacArthur was right that the US should confront China in Korea, maybe this mess would have been avoided. Sometimes the lessons of history take a long time to learn and have a heavy price.

The Chi-coms have been protecting Un. They are getting tired of the little prick's bullshit. He may come down with a mysterious illness or a new hole in his head soon depending on how diplomatically they want to get rid of him.
We aren't going to do a damned thing that China doesn't let us do.

^^^^Exactly. America doesn't want to piss China off because that war would end a lot of things. China is the best choice for dealing with this nut job.

They will do nothing that China does not allow them to do. They get most of their food, fuel, and electricity from China. China controls them.

He's a punk. China is publicly lambasting him without actually naming him. I agree, more likely the punk is suddenly taken ill than full war. But mistakes happen. Still, nothing compared to Soviet scares of '62 and '83.
But an end of the world list is fun... So many choices but so little time in nuclear war lol.

North Korea threatening to bomb the US is like a 6th grade bully trying to intimidate the 12th grader. Sure - it'll get him props with the other 6th graders, but the 12th graders just smiles and says, "Yeah, good luck kid" and walks away.

Never underestimate your enemy to do so is to be foolhardy and prideful .
North Korea can fight and will have the backing of the Chinese and Russians.
China will never tolerate democracy so close to its borders
