Hobby vs. relationship(s).
If you have the scrill to play 4 times a month why do you need a girlfriend or wife? I've heard before that free pu$$y costs more than paying for it- I never believed it till I saw my friends 401k reduced by half. If the relationship goes south- the courts view it as a business partnership-certainly not a yum yum fairy tale. Just a thought.

When I was in grad school, I had a classmate do an entire thesis on this subject. It was really eye opening how much more expensive being in a relationship is versus finding a provider a few times a month. I used to have a copy of it.

I guess there is never a perfect type of relationship - either in the hobby or in private - if there were more - everyone would be happier - not as many bitter feelings - lawyers would not make $$$$$ in legal fee's , either or would not lose half of their assest , house , savings , etc., - children would have just one set of parents , no single parents -
and if more perfect - yes the hobby would not be as active -
So - I guess to each their own - to me it would be nicer to have a relationship - but their is never a perfect or trusting one

there are a gazillion reasons why someone who is in a committed relationship will go visit escorts/providers/call girls/<insertYourFavoriteTermHere> .
and while many of those reasons are similar, it's only up to the guy to know what the "perfect" reason for hobbying is.

one reason - because i wouldnt want to take a provider on a 2-3 week vacation to south america, europe, canada, or s.e. asia. i have yet to meet one that i would want to hang out with for that length of time.
another reason - if i wanted kids, i would rather have them w/ a s.o. or wife and not w/ a provider.
i'm sure you can think of a few more.
bottom line - do what feels right and perfect for you.
and realize that it doesnt have to feel right and perfect for others.

Excellent point on the kids-I was thinking more post divorce- I have no friends who have not been divorced by the way. A thought I always juxtapose is walking along a beach holding hands with a woman you have been married to for 25 years versus banging some hottie 25 years younger. I think in the moment I'd choose the hottie. I hope I'm wrong.

The IDEAL thing would be a wife/GF who was attractive, affectionate and was someone with whom you could be intimate. We all have different situations, but I find intimacy to be important. You don't really have intimacy with a provider. So, it is all a compromise.

If a bbbj cim is not intimate it has to be in the ball park at least. Yeah a girl may like you but since time immorrial I suspect there has always been and always will be an exchange for sex. I suspect intimacy would go flying out the window for a guy with no income. Honey I quit my job, and gave everything to charity. Idk
