Since I am not a premium access member, I do not have access to complete information to make an informed decision. I find it hypocritical for those of you with premium access to expect a story right out of Penthouse forum in length and detail, and then whine when it doesn't happen. In my case, I have simply chosen not to do a review at all on several occasions to avoid this. I see abolutely NO reason to try to please you all when I can not get the same information without paying for it. Any of you want to send me a cashiers check, then you can get the full scoop....until then f@#* off , and subscribe to PH Forum. An alternative solution is to make EVERYONE pay for PA, regardless of their posting history. After all, this site IS a business.

If your able to pay for sex routinely since your join date, you can afford PA access, or write a half way decent review every six weeks, it would be a wise investment. I do remember a lot of counseling on my first reviews from the mods, and I was a bit pissed at first, but got over it.

I don't think so.
Most don't expect a Penthouse letter but enough detail to make an informed decision. And if you do the same it helps us all. If I don't have to fold up the Kleenex when done that helps keep me within my hobby budget too.

As I have stated before, the post by a Mod to "check your PM's" is not some kind of public admonishment or criticism. It is done for two reasons:

1) When there is a problem with a Review, a Mod will usually send a PM to the reviewer. But not all members check their PM's as often as they should. A post like this lets them know to do so if they check back on their review.

2) It is a tool used by the Mods to let each other know that "I've got this one." When I see another Mod post that, I know that I should move on and not duplicate his work.

As far as the amount of "detail" that should be in the review.... there is a lot of variation allowed. It is a judgment call by the Mods, but we do try to ensure minimum standards. But we will never please everyone.

I would say that it is always more helpful to include details that help the group. It doesn't need to read like penthous forum...but try to include her TCB skills...attitude, performance, appearance, activities included or allowed...what is NOT allowed... and then anything else that can help others decide to see or not see that provider. If it has a good read, or story flow...more the better...but not necessary.

<0's review of Jen (most recently) was 'OK' but since Jen has been reviewed before and then went UG and has now re-imerged perhaps a little more detail would have been nice. Since DD suggested what other's were thinking (at least me) regarding more detail....more the better. Writing a good-better review is HELPFUL....not everyone jerks off to the narrative...but more is better.
As for paying for PA credit...you pay for sex...but not PA access? how about you just write a decent review about what you paid for and A) get PA for 6 weeks B) help others decide who to see or not. How hard is that? SHIT man they even have a stickynote about HOW to write a good review....follow the guidelines...plain and simple.
And <0 ...I don't 'hate' you...just think you could write a better review. is it wrong to have standards?

Considering that I am the one who has to write the 'Please Read Your PMs' from time to time it would be very helpful if the information that is required is included ... so I didn't have to! but then again for those that are newbies or who write reviews infrequently I guess I will just have to continue doing it!

As Rooster said it is a tool that has to be used!

Randy, chill and hear OSD: penthouse letters style reviews suck. They are more fun if you read them like this:

'my thick cock' think pencil, like one that's been on a golf cart in the rain and sun for three seasons

'after 20 minutes of mish', think he fucked long enough for the clock to change once. Or he blew early and then talked for 20 minutes to get the time paid for.

'She had a great big O,' think either Meryl Streep walked in for a cameo and/or she peed in his mouth a little to fake a squirt.

And probably when someone needs to list 2-3 different kisses, 6-8 different positions and the fact that he touched nipples, that person either has just been with his second woman, he goes soft easy, or he couldn't get it in and had to try another angle.

These pages are filled with huge egos that if they were half what they thought they'd be getting paid rather than paying. I'm sure I do it too.

Share enough to get your time. Safety, cost, cover, and maybe a brief summary of service. MODs aren't hard on this.
