Default These Are Not My Photos

I am not remembering where I was reading but a provider found these photos with my name on them...these are not my photos. I do a lot of traveling and I use various boards depending on the area going to. I have noticed that ladies or agencies will browse through steal someone's name and text for an ad and then put photos up with that name and ad that they just stole. I see it happen all the time. I used to write these boards and argue threaten them to take my name and text down but I have finally come to the point that I don't have time to argue with them. Anyway, this link was referenced some conversation and this link does not have my photos in it my name but not my photos. http://www.alevarzu.com/female-escor...ecials-30.html These Are My Photos http://kellierae.escortwebsite.com/ also I think the date on the fake ad said March 23 I was in Vegas When in fact I was in California and the phone number on that page that is not mine. Just some dumb b**** stealing my name and ad ***One there question since when do providers get to voice an opinion such as "don't recommend" what is that all about? I guess it happens, but, it's rude for providers to talk about other providers whom they have not met. How can someone form and opinion or another if they have not met? Well I am hoping that the gentlemen on this board can look past some of the pettiness.

Sorry for your issues but the obvious solution is to use a more protective watermark.

That's where you stretch your legitimate web address across the photos (perhaps even a phone number or email addy in an adjacent corner of the photo. That way anywhere they appear they will link to your site and folks who steal and post the photos are outing themselves. Folks who search for "Kellie Rae" on Google might have a better shot as seeing the real you even as the phonies pop up.

Unfortunately, the watermarks also somewhat obscure your beauty.

Security first, imho.

Many, MANY ladies have had their photos stolen. I had one of my shots "borrowed" by a gal (half my age, so it was kind of a compliment) 3 years ago, and therefore have watermarked my pics ever since. You can use the Paint program already installed on computers running Windows, but it's clunky. Best bet is to get a program like Visual Watermark. http://www.visualwatermark.com

They have a free trial download, but it only works for 7 days. Then there's a personal use program for $19.95, but you really can't go that route since your photos will be posted for advertising. The full program is a one-time charge of $39.95, good on 2 computers, very easy to use, infinite number of combinations you can create, from barely-there-translucent to you-can't-miss-it-bold. Examples below.

There's also services like Digimarc, which imbeds imperceptible and irremovable marks on your photos AND links back to your website, then keeps track of the usage so you KNOW when they're stolen, by who, and where they're posted. However, that's a lot more expensive. http://www.digimarc.com/digimarc-for...sional-edition

Whatever you do, Irish luck!

Microsoft Word or if not going the Microsoft route due to cost, Open Office also does watermarking and it's free.

By the way, those aren't my photos either.

For Open Office, to learn more and download this will be of interest to you...

I have used this software in the past it is a great piece of work.!

And for working with images, you cannot go wrong with GIMP a wonderful and free alternative to Photoshop.
