Question for the gentlemen
This is a question that maybe the gentlemen can answer, because I just can't figure it out.
After visiting with a provider who is part of an agency why would you give her your phone number and say, "just in case you go independent."
Is it a hassle making appointments? Is it that you're trying to get a lower rate?
I'm just not understanding the motivation behind giving a provider your phone number in case she goes independent.
I am by no means angry or upset, just confused and trying to get some insight.
What do you gentlemen think? Have you done this before, if so then what were your reasons?
Thanks so much!
~Liz

yes I have done that, a few times in fact,
before there was eccie, and before aspd
I use to visit massage parlors,
id give a woman, who I enjoyed being with, my number
and said those exact words, (if you ever you go indy)
why not give her (the woman) more freedom of seeing who she wants and when,
and not have to worry about house fee, or time

I think it's more the history of the business than anything else. Many of the wonderful indy providers that have appeared on this board were once part of an agency. If a guy enjoys a particular woman, there's a fear that he would lose contact with her if she ever makes the indy jump.
I don't think price is the motivation. The women aren't stupid and know exactly what they can get out of us. Why lower the price? Some even raise donation rates.

I went to Wegmans and came back to some good responses, with of course, the exception of GP. So, thank you Franklin & Mwebber for your real responses. I appreciate it! OSD, thanks for the humor, and try my agency and you won't be disappointed!

unlike Franklin4 or mwebber I never had anything go well with a agency. Never ever got to a point that I could give a phone number. The best and safest time I ever had with a agency was when after hours of calls they still never showed up. Only time I ever got time with the lady. Was also the same night the agency went under. I got to take the lady home that night. As the agency was no longer before we where done. mmmmm make that was over before we got started.
I did go to a agency M&G once that went well. But I never tried to met the lady's again. It ended of a deal made that we would never fuck with each other on the board anymore. Or do business ever. mmmm I'm still here. LOL
Strange, I can hit one up in Canada and all go's well. In NY never has. So why would I go to a agency in Roch NY where it is always work keeping my ass alive and getting away with it.
edit add: and I'm getting to old and fat to keep my ass alive.

I don't like agency thing why should they get a percentage of your money I feel bad when I give a donation and not all of it's not going to the girl. I seen providers who worked for agencies they said they are just as bad as pimps sometimes . Independent is the way to go

I rarely use agencies, except in Canada, so I am not speaking from personal experience. I do agree that, since it is not uncommon for a provider to turn independent after working for an agency, the clients Liz spoke about probably want to avoid losing contact if that happens. It is also possible that some might see themselves as potential WK's for altruistic or self-serving reasons.

The most recent "occurrence" was on the first meeting.
Previously we had one client get very attached to one of my women after seeing her several times and then tried to give his number. She took it to be polite, but she was uncomfortable with the situation, since he wanted more than just a client/provider relationship (this one I understand, but it made me feel a bit bad for him).
