To all the lovely gentlemen who filled my inbox and voicemail with appointment requests:

My dear sweet grandma convinced me to stay and visit an extra couple of days so I am rescheduling my journey to BR. I couldn't exactly tell her about all the sexy men and hot play dates waiting for me

I hope to see you all next week but will kindly not post an ad til I've crossed the state line and purchased Patron from the chevron station (this is my customary celebratory ritual when arriving in Louisiana).

OTOH, one of the funniest things from "Raising Arizona" is the scene when the prison psychologist is saying in a group session, "Most men your age are out raising families, yet here you are! Why do you think that is?" and John Goodman playing Gayle Stokes very thoughtfully says: "Well, doc, sometimes career has to come BEFORE family..." But that movie has so many great lines.
