The next to be outed is probably Shepard Smith. It's long been rumored that he's gay. Now the rumor is that he has AIDS. He's recently lost a lot weight and does not look well.

In his case, it doesn't matter. He's one of CNN's better journalists, and his sexuality hasn't been a distracting issue during the times I watched his show.

Agree with you. I don't always agree with his POV but he's usually sane and makes some good, well thought out points.

So what if he's gay? He's one of the few grown ups over at CNN. Maybe if they hired more gay reporters, they would have more credibility.

I watched the debates on my computer. He made the most sense of any moderator. I also caught some of his coverage from Egypt on YouTube. Thought he did a great job there. But that's true, I have never seen his show.
Even if his show is crap, I don't care if he's gay. We ought to be beyond that by now.
