How hard is it for a lady who has been a provider for nearly ten years to retire and live a typical lifestyle?

There are many women who have retired and go on to regular civilian jobs and do quite well. It really depends on the provider. If she suffers from low self esteem and is getting a self esteem boost which is somewhat false in a business like this then she may not make that transition so easily. Some ladies actually have more of a self esteem boost when they go back into the normal working force. There are many women in this escort business that have many psychological issues. The escort business is not a healthy way to gain self esteem. It is practical to make a great deal of cash on a short term basis however. I know plenty of ladies who have retired after 10-15 years in the business and do well in other civilian jobs.

As with any job in life you have to assess your talents and capabilities. Too many women get into the escort business without much thought as to the repercussions to mental and physical health. Too many women also get into the escort business out of desperation which is the worst way to get into this line of work.

I am seeing many many young women getting into this business and they lack the skills required for running and maintaining their business and they don't know how to save for those rainy days. Then again I have personally met women in this business who are level headed and know how to make their money and get out.

Because of a number of factors, my wife had trouble retiring from the profession. One area of concern involved finances and security. My wife made a lot of money but was not a good money manager. She needed a high and constant income. She was worried that if anything happened to our relationship, she would have to start over from scratch. To a lesser extent, her ego fed off of men treating her like they did and being very taken by her presence.

To work around some of these issues, she continued to provide service to certain regulars. She worked about once a week with a few being overnighters. She knows that our relationship is not likely to end, but she really enjoys her other activities and says that she would really miss them. She has cut down the numbers somewhat but still goes out.

(She tells me that I can see a provider on any day that she is out. She feels that seeing a client and me seeing a provider do not threaten our relationship.)
