OP - Houston is NOT a ""tourist"" type of city, despite the size of the city.
you need a man to take you around the city and just have fun.
its a good city otherwise, quite diverse...
where r u from btw ?

Night Clubs - Washington Ave.
Food - Galleria Area.
Also there are what I would consider some "Provider Friendly" Areas in the Galleria Area...Steak Places with Bars:
Mo's
Masaraff's
Sullivan's - Saturdays
There are some others out there. I wouldn't say it's "not tourist" but the clubs in Houston close at 2:00 AM when they can't sell liquor any more. There's always a topless bar open somewhere. I recommend either St. James (Northside)...Treasure's (Galleria)
