The bill includes no credible financial analysis. The ones that are out there....which you may want to read...show what an economic disaster this is going to be.

Tax cuts are going to benefit every American. Small business owners will be able to survive. When you give big business tax cuts and incentives then it will increase employment.

Everybody gets sick and need Medicaid if they don't have any other medical insurance. They just won't have it if they decide not to work. Every elderly and disable American will still receive Medicaid. We will see a year from now how this plays out and who's being gaslighted.

Your point is valid. However, It's not the very old, it's the very poor. If you are in the individual market, (You don't get health insurance from an employer) to qualify for "Expanded Medicaid" the rule is like a family of four that makes > $16,000 but < $25,000. If you are a family of 4 and make > $25,000 you qualify for a private health insurance plan under the ACA. Trump's bill does not change this.

If you are a family of 4 and make less than $16,000 you qualify for original Medicaid (that was signed into law by LBJ) Trumps bill does not change that rule.

If you are over age 65 then you qualify for Medicare. Trumps bill does not change that either.

The "Expanded Medicaid" is part of the ACA legislation AKA (Obamacare). The way that worked is the Federal Government would pay 95% of the cost. The states that participate put up 5% of the cost. I believe there are 36 states that participate and 14 that do not. In the south Kentucky, Arkansas, Lousiana and North Carolina participate. With Trumps new bill, the Federal Gov will not be putting up 95% of the cost anymore. The percentage will be a lot less. This is why it's estimated that many will lose there "Expanded Medicaid" coverage. For example, the State of North Carolina has 750,000 people on Expanded Medicaid. This why the Republican Senator from North Carolina voted no with Senator Paul of Kentucky and Senator Collins of Maine. Unfortunately, the senator from Alaska, voted yes (they made changes just for her state) and Trumps bill barely got thru the Senate.

First, let me say that your statement that I highlighted in red above is not true at all. You won't see this "a year from now." The new requirements don't take effect until December 2026.

It's because the fucking mid-term elections will be over by then!

They will hold off the worst effects on this until after the mid-terms so that they don't get their asses handed to them when people start to realize how bad this is.

The rest of your post is so riddled with inaccuracies that it is obvious you either don't understand the statistics or chose to ignore them. Either way, you won't believe anything I say.

But the low estimate is that 10.5 Million lose healthcare coverage. The high estimate, that many believe is closer is 17 Million. MANY of them will be people that qualify but fuck up or get caught up in bureaucracy.

They are making it more difficult to qualify for the benefit because they KNOW people will fuck up or not bother. They are counting on it. It is the only way for them to save money. Cuz this "fraud" bullshit ain't gonna pay off very well either.
