Helping a girl out

Do any of you all have success stories with helping someone out? I have had several girls tell me they want to get out of the lifestyle and everything that comes with it, but they eventually fall back into old habits. I am probably a sucker, but I just always believe you should help someone if you can and it’s their conscience or karma or whatever if they choose to take advantage of someone.

Don't do it, I just recently tried to help someone out, but right back to the same old habits, it was not a good experience.

It really does seem like that, maybe we should have a thread for “I’ve helped out provider X, above and beyond what a donation would be and she went back”

I think it depends on what type of help they are looking for. Money to get them started? A big no. Helping them find a job or affordable place to live or some guidance on next steps in life? Sure.

A few years back I saw a provider in Fayetteville and we talked about her wanting to do something else and I gave her some sound advice and encouragement and to my knowledge she did quit and hasn't returned to the hobbyand the only money I gave her was for the visit and she never asked for any more money

I have asked for help a couple times, not for the same reason. I always paid it back with a little extra sometimes.

I wouldn’t help out someone who is posting “I need help” other than, I guess I’d take her to a shelter, but I’m talking about regulars

I have a couple that I take care of with a little extra but it's of my choice they have always treated me good but there's one that. Posts a lot on stg that has done me wrong a few years back and it has cost her lots of money cause I won't see her

There is a special lady in my life that stunck, limped and living out of a car January. Today she is sober, still living in a hotel room, but she just got promoted, today as a matter of fact, to an assisted management position! She is in love, knows what she wants in life and is heading towards the life she dreams of. I am very blessed, that she trusted me enough,to let me guide her. She is happy, I am happy today. Who cares what tomorrow holds. We hold the happiness today, because tomorrow is not promised to anyone.
