Frisco vs Downtown
What’s your preference? I like a nice area that has restaurants/bars, where do the hobbyists frequent?

Well, the hobby center in the Metroplex is Addison, which also happens to be the US city with the highest number of restaurants per capita. But there are definitely other spots in the area that have better "walkability" to restaurants and bars if you find the right hotel. The Legacy area in Plano, The Star in Frisco, or even downtown Plano or Frisco. Lots of options!

Frisco, Legacy west, plano preston rd , all good choices but, i like legacy west in plano near 121. Live music, great bars, good resturants, cheap hotels like red roof inn, comfort suites or expensive hotels like hilton, Hyatt, Renaissance. Great free parking. Sambuca, shark club, and mic drop are in legacy west. It'll DO Club · 2. Sambuca 360 · 3. Dirty Dick's Bar · 4. Colette Dallas · 5. Concrete Cowboy · 6. Dorothy's Bumper Club · 7. Club Ritzy · 8. Double D Bar. A couple of those are in Dallas downtown.
