The first big test of Trump's sway over other countries was a big LOSS.

Not only was "how are we gonna deal with this asshole" the leading issue in the Canadian federal election, but it also propelled a left-for-dead Liberal party to a fourth straight victory. While not a majority of Parliament, it was a rousing WIN nonetheless.

Mark Carney stays on as PM and the Liberals are three seats from a majority.

Our incredibly polite neighbors to the north had no problem making Trump a central character in their efforts to unify the country, as both major parties used it to drive voters to the polls.

They suffer so bad from TDS that they would rather see their Country continue on a downward slide, lead by their version of our Liberal/Progressive/Socialist Democrats, than admit Trump is right.
