So a past ex gf (years ago) was/is a provider for past handful of years. She does run with some other providers before she pulled back from what it seems. These providers though are still active with lots of positive reviews that makes it tempting..

Is this too close to home where real life and hobby life shouldn't mix?

If they were close friends I’m sure they know about you, but as a providers they shouldn’t tell her as they need to be professional about it and be discreet.
