I forgot how awful the Moco app is. I want to find whatever Windows 3.1 developer designed Moco and slap them in the face. Anyway, I did a search for that username and couldn't find anything

I’m glad you found her on it Chung! Maybe I’ll stop getting all the PMs asking for help now.
You can message them directly in open chat without anybody seeing it but it is easy to put in public if you are not careful.
As for private chat, I think you can go back and forth without them accepting a friend request.
The app is a PITA and is as flaky as the girls there.

Most you can message without being friends. Some go into settings and select messages from only friends.
