Default Guess Which August Democrat Is Not For Open Borders And Medicare For All?

Harry Reid. He'll probably get another beating.

https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/y...-are-bad-ideas

WASHINGTON — Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) isn’t happy that some of his party’s presidential candidates are pushing for Medicare for All and decriminalizing border crossings, two hot-button issues in the Democratic primary.

In a half-hour phone conversation with VICE News, Reid was blunt when asked if he thought supporting Medicare for All would be problematic in the 2020 general election.

The onetime Democratic powerhouse and Nevada kingmaker had similar thoughts about another issue dividing the 2020 Democratic presidential field: whether to decriminalize the act of crossing into the U.S. without authorization.

Decriminalizing the border
“There are so many more important things to do. Decriminalizing border crossings is not something that should be at the top of the list. It should be way, way down at the bottom of the list,” Reid said, responding with a curt “of course it is” when asked if supporting that position would be politically problematic in the general election.

“There are so many more important things to do.”

“People want a fair immigration system. They don’t want an open-door invitation for everybody to come at once,” argued Reid

I think probably 80% of Democrats think the same as Reid.

which means the core of registered Democrats won't be inclined to vote for any of the current Democratic candidates. and I've said this before. i just said it again.

we both agree .. that the core of the Democratic party are not far leftist radicals. this is why support for the Democratic party is fading away.

the more the Democratic candidates go far left, the better Trump's reelection chances are.

agree.. it will come down to not who garners support, but who is least offensive. that's why I'm a year away from deciding who gets my vote..

I believe the Radical DPST's will not give up their Socialist Fascist Uber Alles narrative - and will press forward with a radical third party candidate if Bidenis nominated - I think unlikely as he looks more and more feeble daily.

Two DPST parties hands the election to Trump!
let the Radical socialists scream and Wail - it is good for the country to see them in their real Socialist Fascist beliefs.

The Axis of Socialism may now chime in the with the new NYT narrative - "Racism"
lol

seriously, you believe that? even as the "anyone but Trump" narrative is so strong?

I disagree.. I think the Socialists will try to nudge Biden into accepting a few of their positions, but will support him strongly. Biden is not that different from them, anyway. it's a myth to call him the "middle" Candidate. the only thing Biden is in the middle of, is justice for Hunter Biden

CT -I do believe that nominating a "moderate" DPST candidate will split the party .

Biden is showing his infirmity growing daily - his handlers are trying to keep him out of sight- His Wife Jill is becoming the Biden spokesman/candidate.

he will not last a stressful Presidency.

If nominated - a vote for biden is actually a vote for his VP as POTUS, IMHO.
