"Donald Trump (Black Version)".. Pro-Trump or Parody?

recorded by the Time, vocals by Morris Day, from the late 1980's.. some say Morris sings from the POV of a black millionaire whose wealth can satisfy his girl.. that Trump embodies a strong, desirable Man that Morris (his song character) sees as a role model.

others would say the song lampoons Trump, and super-wealthy guys who believe their cash and bravado will score Chicks.

I side with the first group, but I'm open to dissenting opinion, LOL.. by the way, I saw the Time (and Morris) at Winstar Friday night, no mention of this song at all (which is telling, I think.. if it was a parody, lampooning Trump, I would expect it to be played, given today's political climate)..

I don't think a lot of people know about that song...yet.
It kind of went by the wayside through the years.
I don't see it written as a parody then, but it could become one now.

I liked this line:
"I heard you. You said your favorite color was green."
