We all remember Hugo Chavez and his grand scheme to turn the entire Country into a "South American Beverly Hillbillies" by promising everybody free everything, paid for with oil dollars.

Well, that was back when oil was $80 a barrel. At $40 a barrel, they can't even afford to pay attention.

So what is Chavez's hand picked successors solution. Strip away any rights the citizenry had, abolish the legislative branch, and declare himself President for Life........or else.

It's not in this link, but just 3 years ago, , they outlawed private ownership of guns, except for those in his private militias. These are, in a sense, the equivalent of every dictators goon squads through the ages.
