As Mr. Retard and I have found out things are different when using a computer to view and create messages on eccie as opposed to a smart phone or tablet. On a computer, at least a Toshiba Qosmio laptop, one can create messages with large fonts. When viewing that same message on a smart phone or tablet the (large) fonts appear smaller than normal fonts. Really!

iPhone 6+, at least, (large) fonts appear the size as "normal" fonts.

screen size has a lot to do with that they have to fit the font to screen ratio!

I presume you mean resolution. Maybe.

I'd bet it's more operating system. My iPhone resolution is the same as my Samsung tablet yet on the iPhone the (large) fonts show up as normal font size while the same (large) fonts show up on the (Android) Samsung as smaller than normal font size. Windows shows them as they were intended to be regardless of resolution.


P.S. I'd expect at least one response for #2.

Just for shits and giggles I checked http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=1699090 on my tablet.

The photos were a manageable "screen size" but the showcase and review links were very tiny. Didn't attempt to link but I'd imagine they would be difficult if not impossible!

And if you access through m.eccie.net its another story altogether. Rebuilding as a responsive site for a more consistent user experience would be a pretty large task though.

The mobile site is definitely a little more limited, but still very functional. But that is true for most any site that carries a mobile version.
