protect yourself
It has been said in this forum that you don't really know who has your information that you give providers during screening.
I believed this and the following is a brief summary of a few steps I have taken to protect myself.
I began a program of changing, adding and deleting a phone number every 3 or 4 months, burners are cheap.
In addition I never use my eccie account name or acknowledge even having an eccie account.
In my opinion, the reviews on eccie are almost useless. The only thing of use I have found is the provider menu
I am a perpetual newbie, new to town, new to the hobby, or at most an occasional dabbler.
Over the past three years I haven't had any trouble reaching into the provider pool so far and doubt I will experience any difficulty in the future.
Any additional steps you care to share, discuss or comment on?

Spoken like someone whose board persona is that of such a pimp-mongering hateful p.o.s.that they have to keep going to new burner identities in order to actually hook up with anybody who might be keeping score on who you really are.
But hey, thanks for the advice.

All the HA HA's made your comment so much funnier.
I'm not offering advise, just mentioned some of the things I do to protect my real world identity
Just trying to point out that no matter how much these providers think that they know about me or an other client they never know who is on the other side of the door when they open it.
I don't want any provider to know who I really am; isn't that the whole Idea. Also I only have the one eccie account, I just never refer to it when contacting providers.

But what about the ladies that don't see newbies? Also, the ones that do see newbies should be screening with something. If not, they aren't screening you and others. Does that NOT bother you?

I have enough regulars who will give me referrals/introductions and that is more than enough.
I saw a new girl from backpage last night and got okayed in 10 minutes, after two texts and a short conversation
I don't worry too much. What's the worst thing that can happen; get arrested? done that. Family finds out? woops they know I see escorts. get a beating from a Pimp? not yet Robbed? not yet

??? You mean you don't know how to have more than one Wi-Fi hot spot operating inside a simple KC, MO house? That's basic security. But then some... nevermind.

No UC, I didn't know that I thought that where ever you are you have a for lack of a better term a user signature or IP address.
Thanks for pointing this out. I'll look into it and If this it's true I'll have yet another level I can put on the wall

You said all that to then ask what steps others are taking to protect their information...I'll bite, offering additional topics of consideration. Some may say not to feed the troll, but here are a few:
Screening is a two-way street. Useful information is not only gleaned from reviews here. Do you have distinguishable physical characteristics, such as a recognizable scar, tattoo, disfigurement? Are you, on the other hand easy to forget, ambiguously plain and wholly unremarkable?
Communication via PM, email, phone, even writing style expressed through your posts, threads, reviews, etc. may offer clues to your identity. Do you type the way you talk? Is your vernacular and lexicon pretty similar across all your pseudonyms?
Transportation, location of appointments - is the multiplicity of dudistpreist showing up to park in the same vehicle, scanning the area for watching eyes appropriately aware of surroundings? Host outcalls to the same establishment?
Food for thought, in the least.

The whole idea is to stay behind the curtain, but I will answer just one of your questions. No I do not speak the same way I type, I use a keyboard to type.
Points for vocabulary, I haven't used vernacular or lexicon in quite awhile double points for pseudonyms.

Keeping your private information away from eccie should be more or just as important than the providers. I don't have any idea what goes on behind the scenes here but I do know there are individuals with access to private information who have absolutely no problem giving it out

That person embarrassed herself out of the business, and as far as I know (which ain't much), out of this town 'bout 11 years ago. Like a true Trumpette, it's somebody else's fault! She's the victim.
In the mean time, tell your doctor you might need to try Citalopram HBR 10mg. It should do something for the conspiratorially inclined paranoia you're having trouble with.
