Tips or Gifts.......
Tips or Gifts, I've given both at one time or another, I prefer to give gifts, because it seems more professional. I never tip my Doctor or Attorney, or Accountant for that matter, but I have brought gifts at one time or another........... I am curious as to what others think.........Providers and Clients.

Since this is a service based industry, tips are appropriate. If a lady has a profile here, she will have listed gifts she would like. If you are a regular, either is appropriate, but not required.

I've always felt that you are paying for "their" time, not necessarily "their" services. They set a "Fee"" that they consider reasonable for their time, and during that time you spend with a provider, the level of activities, is really up to the "discretion" of the provider, even if you make suggestions as to what you like, want, and expect. How often do we see a review that states YMMV. It seems odd to view providers like waitresses. After all isn't it the "Oldest Profession"...............

I really only see women from ECCIE and almost always take a gift for at least our first visit. To me it's a no brainier. If the appointment goes well, I always send a text thanking them.

The comparison to waitresses is easily more accurate than to professional people like physicians or attorneys.
Not sure how many here are professional people but I would imagine that those who are recall the hard work and sacrifice that went into becoming what they have become, as well as the competitiveness and the day-to-day pressure to perform that comes along with it, and never goes away.
Giving gifts is unnecessarily crossing boundaries. I've sent text messages after encounters, I think that's typical.

Yes Kay-Kay.
Also nothing for nothing but on more than a few occasions I've listened to hooks mock, and sometimes even complain about, customers who give gifts or over-communicate. Behind their backs I mean.
Rationale I have been witness to is that these extras seem to imply more than a standard hook/customer "relationship". Like there's a creepiness to it.

For multi-hour encounters at shit hotels I have sometimes brought items from the vending machines, like Chuckles or bottled water or overpriced diet Coke.
My old regular had this amazing metabolism. She liked Dominos pizza and a bag of Doritos. I brought that sometimes if that counts as a gift?

Not sure Paul.
It would be great if Kay-Kay could give some perspective on gift-giving.
