Plugs and beads offer totally different sensations. It's as much about the texture, shape, material, temperature, etc as it is the size. A small plug or dildo is probably the best intro to ass play, but don't stop at one toy, try different things until you figure out what you like. And of course, you can like more than one thing.

Glass toys are a good start too. They have different sizes and textures, but the glass itself is smooth and easier to insert, but is also hard enough to insert without a problem.

You could buy her a small plug a little bigger than your finger and the beads. That way she has a choice and it's not too overwhelming. Then suggest if she doesn't like them, maybe she could go with you and pick it out. That might take things to a whole new level.

I've found that men and women have a love it or hate it relationship with glass. Myself and Tammie are quite the fans, but I've had numerous complaints about it being too rigid, so I wouldn't recommend glass as a beginner toy, but definitely try it sometime down the road as glass in the ass is magical.

Although some of us may enjoy sharing or being shared, not all like to see their partner with someone else.
I personally love having my guy watching AND joining in when with other guys. It's a turn on to be watched.
Also another man for DP may have to be worked up to. May need to start small with a plug until she's ready for more.
