For the rest of us, they may be the last (unlikely) U.S. servicemen to die in Obama's Afghanistan war. You see, he announced that we were quitting (losing by any other name) and getting out (post surge) it became his war. We're down to a few thousand people and the argument has started about keeping them there longer. So there is no longer any purpose to keep them there except politics and the appearance of cutting and running (which is what Obama is doing).
