Dan Epstein, a spokesman for Cause of Action, said that Cause of Action feels that Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration's (TIGTA) acknowledgment of the documents is “absolutely” a victory in their investigation. He said the sheer number of relevant documents indicates that wrongdoing occurred on the part of both the IRS and the White House.

“That indicates scandal,” he said....

“We know for a fact that the IRS broke the law,” he said.

Odumbo “joked” about auditing his enemies—but now that the White House has been caught with the documents, Odumbo, et al, are choosing to enforce the provisions of the law that they ignored when they acquired the documents. Odumbo's bunch is saying, "Now that we've seen them, we've determined that we shouldn't have seen them and you shouldn't see them either."
