Default Hotel room for photoshoot

I have a photoshoot this Thursday and was wondering if anyone had any advice on a hotel room I could use for it.

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. Something beautiful elegant and classy, preferably with a hot tub and/or glass shower. beautiful suite like room maybe with a balcony?

Plaza Intercontinental (former Ritz Carlton), perhaps?

The Argosy has very nice rooms. Very nice large tiled showers. Big enough for 3 or 4 people. Has standard shower head and an overhead shower head. I have a couple of photo shoots planned for there.

Embassy Suites north edge of Plaza has small balconies. Don't know if the doors actually open nowadays. Haven't been in there for years. But the rooms are a two, or even three, room set-up.
Sheraton Plaza top couple floors have balconies. All rooms have at least a two or more room setup.
Westin Crown Center has a selection of corner rooms that have mini balconies. Also has large suites with mini balconies, multiple rooms, etc. Starts getting pricy though.

Or any of the high rises for just window silhouettes, and if facing west, catch a sunset.

Back to the multi-room suites, I would think a must as you could also end-up with "living room" set pictures.

Hit their websites and start shopping. Don't you happen to be one of the Maid's of Honor for a friends upcoming wedding and are helping her shop? Hotel staff will fall over themselves showing you around. And, you get to specifically check the window views.

Default room for a photo shoot

Argosy would be one vote....but if available....Chateau Avalon (by the nascar track) has the themed rooms.

Need someone to hold the lighting for you!!!!

Have fun!

Thank you for all of the advise. You are all amazing. I will look into some of the names of above and see what I can to fit the desired themes. I admit I am intrigued with the Avalon and shall take a peek, though will likely settle for argosy

The best bet, I've found, is to get a place that doesn't look like a hotel. I've had luck with corporate rentals.

You might try the Plaza's new Sofatel. (I think that's the name--Roanoke side of the Plaza.) I haven't been there, but boutique hotels tend toward the unique and quirky. I doubt it has balcony rooms, though. I would think the Avalon would also go well with your intent, but no balconies, and it's not cheap. The Intercontinental is nice, but those rooms have bath showers located in a room within a bathroom so are somewhat cramped. I don't know if they have suites with more.
