Infection of HIV from one woman to another woman is quite rare. Here is a case reported today, with rough sex involving toys and blood exchange possibly implicated:

All medical records have always shown lesbians have the lowest HIV transmission rates but doctors admit that while it is rare, HIV can still be passed between them. Blood and body fluid exchange seems key in this case.
