Default Biden begs OPEC, Russia to boost oil output after hurting U.S. oil sector

https://www.oann.com/biden-begs-opec...-s-oil-sector/

OAN Newsroom
UPDATED 3:17 PM PT – Thursday, August 12, 2021

Joe Biden has asked the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and Russia to increase oil production after decimating the U.S. energy industry and sparking massive inflation. On Wednesday, Biden addressed OPEC and asked its members to boost output by more than 400,000 barrels per day in order to lower fuel prices in the U.S. and help combat runaway inflation.
His administration also launched a probe into the U.S. energy industry over allegations of price gouging amid short supply.
Earlier this year, Biden canceled the Keystone XL pipeline and banned drilling on federal lands. As a result, U.S. gas prices surged 42 percent and overall energy costs rose 24 percent. This ultimately lifted the costs of logistics, food and consumer goods.
Experts said Biden’s latest action greatly benefits other countries, including Russia, which is now able to boost oil exports and rake in tens of billions of dollars in additional cash revenue.

This teh 'fiden enrgy policy - read rick Perry's comments posted on forum.

Senile idiot - and communist take-over grab by sending American taxpayer monies needlessly to the Arabs russians, and chinese.

... Hmmmm...

So drilling on American land is somehow WORSE than
spending 70 million dollars A DAY for Russia's oil?

Biden better pray that Putin don't shut the oil off.
Nice to see Biden as Putin's underling... Aint' it, libs??

biden and the communists who lead him around design their energy policies around their ideology

its all about inuring americans, and maybe the world, to ever higher energy prices. its the old frog in a pot of water trick.

getting the price up so that "green" energy is just one more step up in cost and not a whole flight of stairs up

they dont want americans prosperous and independent.........its dependency they wish on us

in the meanwhile, the price increases are good for me and for texas in general

Our oil is not what our refineries are set up to refine.

Especially here on the Gulf Coast.

You're talking out your ass mate.

so what type of oil are all our many refineries setup to refine? we can refine whatever we need dufus. some refineries are specialized. so certain petroleum goes there. what's the big deal?

and if i gave a fuck i'd be muffed you only gave me a "like" for easily knowing the reason why the US is buying more Russkie "oil" is because of sanctions on Venezuela.

but you forget to say that it's low grade fuel oil called Mazut. not high grade gas. was that on purpose or because you are just being you?

So let’s get this straight.

Biden’s stupidity destroys our energy independence.
Putin invades Ukraine.
We are sending arms to Ukraine to help them defend against the Russians.
We are buying oil from Russia so they can more afford to invade Ukraine.

Is this the new definition of stupid?

Exxon and BP are pulling out of Russia including shutting down their plants and facilities. This will further hurt Putin’s production capability.
