Over the past year, I've been really getting into the many variants of the handjob. I am a fan of the tease and denial; the lady being pleasured all in the guise of the lady being a domme. Every video I have ever seen purporting to be a femdom video portrays the lady as a man-hating, ass-whipping bitch who never takes her clothes off or participates in anything of a sexual nature with the male sub. Agreed- I don't like the scenarios that take the FEM out of FEMDOM. A session with a demanding, feminine woman who makes you "earn" your pleasure is a huge turn-on, especially when the earning is in the form of some way pleasing her.

It's a shame that porn (and most mainstream films as well) take such a narrow view of the role of the domme. Cops, superheroes, romantic leads, and cowboys aren't always depicted the same way... but it seems that dommes and subs are. I guess it's easier to reinforce the stereotypes than to provide a realistic treatment...

Thanks for presenting us with a wonderful topic and more important for me, a reference list! Yeah! Something to do tonight along with my reading for the "alternative realm" bookclub!

I like to look at femdom art and I tend to be in agreement with Mr. Rubble because (probably), I'm just softer and like to have fun. I'm not really mean in that fashion. The "tease" part sounds like it's what a man wants.

BUT, I'm also painfully aware (good choice of words, don't ya think?) that there are PLENTY of men who do like the severity of denial. Which is why I'm looking forward to looking up some of those videos and links.

I'd like to hear from the ladies out there who really get into the more severe aspects of denial and get an opinion on the how's and why's. There is also the psychological side of this whole denial thing which would be interesting to discuss. Why?

I hear you fella's. I know some hard core Domme's. There is a Domme vs Domina argument in the D/s culture. Me personally, I'm not the yellin cursin slappin hair pullin spittin kind of Domme. I can sissify and/or humiliate without using those lowest common denominator hat tricks.

I know there are subs and Doms who like it, crave it, need it. It's not my thing. Clients and Dom/Domme providers need to realize that there is a huge difference in expectations between RL and p4p. I'm kind of on the same page as you. I don't like painful stuff- bruises, nipple clamps, etc. aren't for me.
