Kony 2012!!!
Where you live shouldn't determine whether you live!!
Make him famous, www.kony2012.com sign the pledge, make a difference.
Make Joesph Kony famous so we can catch him. I am gonna take part in this...doing something that matters.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4MnpzG5Sqc&sns=fb
KONY 2012 is a film and campaign by Invisible Children that aims to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice.
If you have a Facebook share this video, if you want to help, and make him known to everyone else. There is also a Facebook page for this too.

International justice? no such thing. if it makes you feel better to sign the pledge that's fine. i will not be a party to such nonsense. Uganda like the rest of Africa needs to solve its own problems. Harsh but true.

Um I was just passing a message along to more people ok so there's no need to jump on me for it! If you don't want be part of it then that's fine...others that have hearts will. African or not they still bleed and still have feelings so it's like sitting back and doing nothing when the Hitler was taking over Europe! No one is forcing you to support this cause. I'm simply sharing it for those who actually care about world issues!

2 out of 4 rating in transparency and accountability for this charity. Only 31% of reported collections actually go to Uganda. Average employee salary: $89K/yr. Not to mention the "war" they are trying to stop ended three years ago.
Nevermind the fact that the Ugandan military has been accused of numerous humanitarian crimes as well... I'm not saying Kony is a good guy, by any stretch of the imagination. He is clearly a monster and needs to be captured, tried and executed. But we need to be careful who we climb into bed with. (Think Taliban...)

You took that way too personally. He didn't jump your ass....if you didn't want to make this open for discussion, you probably should have just shared it on your personal FB and not on a message board.
I also think its sad that people are more worried about a cause thousands of miles away. When was the last time you crusaded for starving kids in Houston, or abused women in shelters.
I saw the same crap on my FB, it's really easy to click "like" on some random ass post that's only gaining steam because it's an easy out for lazy people that want to join a cause with a click of a button.
You have a nice ass by the way!

I've volunteered at Texas Children's, soup kitchen, and nursing homes. The world is fucked up, but I still think they need help. If I could go to another country right now and help starving children then yes I would. I did also post it on FB. That's where I heard about it from others posting it.

Naw really though. They got big issues in Mother Africa... Child Soldiers, Destruction Of Villages, Genocide... And we think we had a bad day. But when it comes
to charity, proceed with caution. Too many fucks preying on others' misfortune...

Yeah, it's pretty fucked up, indeed. That sucks about the fake charity stuff, though. I remember during the Haiti disaster, a lot of fraudulent groups were getting donations. Sad shit.

I love the way the community supports charity world wide. I volunteer to pass out food to the homeless in Houston one day a month. Wish I could do more. You wouldn't believe the stories the homeless have to tell. Sad fact that right here in America we have starving people. Regardless of their decisions they still need someone to care about them, to listen and to love them. God Bless.
