Giftcard tradeout/Bartering

If your like me, you may have received giftcards over the holidays.

Now assuming we know each other and everyone is on the up and up, are there any ladies willing to trade services for giftcards?

Example - I have 2 giftcards from BestBuy valued at 65 dollars. If a lady I have met or know like SweetAddiction or ExoticEzra has an advertised session at $$ (2 hundred dollars an hour) and is willing to accept the 65 in giftcards and I pay the difference of 135, can we make a deal?

Keep it simple and this could be a win win for those here who are established regulars of ECCIE in good standing.

Men should reply to this thread that they have X amount in a desired giftcard monies that they are willing to barter.

Ladies should answer that they accept (so and so brand giftcards/ie BestBuy/HEB/etc.) and are willing to do tradeout.

If this barter is acceptable, deals can be done and guys should have no problem to have the lady calls a toll free number to confirm a value of a giftcard prior to services being rendered.

PM's should be sent to arrange deals and if a session occurs and both parties agree, it can be noted in a review.

Good topic! I have always considered gift cards special for several reasons, whether the card is bartering for part of a session, in exchange for a session or is given by a client as an added tip to the monetary donation. Very special, indeed! I see nothing wrong with doing part cash/part gift card.

I hardly go shopping for myself (hence the fun and wishful website "wishlist" I generated on my personal site - lol). This is why I consider gift cards special, because I have to make myself go to the Rim or La Cantera! I prioritize hobby overhead and extra money on my clients rather than spending it on myself. Those who know me best on the boards are probably nodding their heads in agreement as they read this.

A very generous fellow from Dallas/Fort Worth, "Ed"/edm_fw was kind enough to give me a generous certificate to Amazon.com for Christmas without a service rendered! I never buy myself anything for Christmas, so Ed's gesture along with a few other gents was so kind. Good Karma. For Christmas, I was wanting an iPad and his generosity will allow me to finally buy myself one. I am blessed and thankful for all the generosity this season.

I have had a few clients barter gift cards/certificates in exchange for my services as it provides them more discretion than debiting/withdrawing significant amounts of money at the ATM. The gift cards can be purchased via credit cards and if the fellow has the credit card statements sent to his office, then there is usually no need to be concerned about the significant other finding out I also discovered the trend (solely my personal hobby experiences) that men were more inclined to book me for multi-hours when they were allowed to buy a gift certificate over the withdrawal of cash at their ATM, due to the "pay my credit card bill later" concept.

For ladies considering accepting gift cards, advice I give my clients wanting to barter with a gift card is to accompany the gift card with the exact receipt purchased 2 hours prior to the session and allowing me to call to ensure the amount is on the card. There have been incidents of men ripping providers off with gift cards, but a careful check by calling the 1-800 number on the back of the card prior to the beginning of each session will usually remedy this.

Gift cards are a great idea for ladies who accept them! I have accepted them on 3 occasions in the past 2 years and have not had any issues.

Assuming weve met before, and it was cleared by me *prior* to the date, I would accept a giftcard.
I wouldnt ever accept on a first meeting/date.

Though, the down fall, Even with a known *friend*, regarding gift cards. Is that they've first been in possession of said card #, etc. And even though the lady receives a FULL unused card at time of date.
Said hobbyist can still use that card online and drain it. And when the lady goes to use it, it's empty.
