Well, Papelbon is gone, Ortiz is up for free agency, looks to me like the BoSox might be headed for another long term dry spell. Valentine is just the guy to do it to them.

I'm thinking Big Papi will resign. There's not many teams with the resources to sign a strickly DH guy. Papelbon shoulda been gone last year. Bobby V might be the guy to light a fire under a few of these guys. No more fried chicken and beer in the clubhouse during games.
