What keeps you coming back?

I have been on this site and participating in the hobby for a long time. I never posted many reviews but today I posted a review for the first time in 7-8 years. The activity on here has been less than it was 7+ years ago so I thought I would give back a little.

I have had a lot of fun and met some really great providers. I've even tried the sugar dating sites and met a few great girls and made some great memories. Sugar daddy was probably the wrong title for me, more of a Glucose Guardian considering the level of support some of the babies were looking for. I do miss the old regular "massage" places. A place to go and hang out with and be touched by a girl who in my opinion was out of my league.

However, I have also had my share of really shitty encounters. Everything from being catfished to blackmailed stolen from and questions from LE once. Thankfully never been in any altercation or been physically harmed. With these experiences alone, why do I keep coming back?

I have the moments of "I'm done" but have always come back. I guess it's for the hope of the next best experience, but always has the risk of all the bad stuff. I have learned what ads are fake and some have been the same for years. I recently started visiting AMP's but that is starting to loose its appeal at times.

So for me, I guess I am still looking for more excitement and new adventures but also have learned what not to chase. When the encounter is exciting and fun and doesn't feel like a transaction... that's what I look for, but, unless I am looking in the wrong places, that encounter is tough to find these days.

It seems the new girls are just street walker trash that want big bucks for shit service these days. Sad
I miss the old ECCIE when the girls were held to standards and at the same time able to use this site for screening and safety while advertising for free.
Hence I see a lot less new girls because you could get robbed or bad service, and have went to just a few favorites in a small rotation.
The good ones deserve the money, not the trash
This site is still very good in finding the best out there and stopping many of us from getting scammed.
This site sucks compared to the old days but is still very useful

A lot of friends, guys and dolls that still keep in touch.
Sometimes assist on travel planning for eccie road warriors.
Some of ECG's posse lurk here and use the PM system. There's only a few road warriors left though, most have retired.
There's always a xmas and turkey small get-together of folks that have already paired off.

But, a key item that is of interest is a totally ridiculous thread about a sports team named after a foreign animal, whereas the North American version is actually a bison.

I still love the hunt for that "special" encounter and am appreciative of young beautiful girls that are intimate with an old fart (for $) who wouldn't have a chance otherwise. Over the years, I've met some extraordinary girls who make up about 5% of the total out there who either are just too fuggly, thieves, scammers, and pretenders. I take time off for long periods when nothing or nobody interests me, not wanting to waste my time and money on. There still are good deals out there, but doing your homework and not just settling pays off. I also know that not too many years left to do this before I retire from the hobby for good. The one thing in common with all my favorite girls are the ones that really "enjoy the sex"!

Honestly, what keeps me coming back is that it's all I've ever known. I started doing this when I was 19, practically still a kid and too dumb to know any better. Now I'm staring down the barrel of 40 (less than 3 years to go) and wondering what the fuck happened.

That's not to say there haven't been good times. I checked everything off on my sexual bucket list (older women, porn stars, different races, etc.) and met a lot of interesting women while doing it.

But there have been plenty of bad times too. Got too close to someone and got hurt in the process. Lost an escort friend a few years back to Cancer, which fucking broke me. Nearly ended my own life from depression. Still here, obviously.

But I sometimes wonder what life would've been like if I HADN'T called that phone number on the back of the Syracuse New Times all those years ago.

Can't change the past though. And it can still be fun, like last week.

So now it's basically a numbers game. I've seen 90 women, might as well go for 100. Maybe then I'll be done.

Years ago I was friends with a provider, we were friends before I knew her occupation we did have sex but I never paid her, unless you count buying her drinks and paying for dining. Anyway 1 thing she said to me, is that guys really don't want "just sex" she said they think they do but really not, guys want to feel special, respected, appreciated, and sex can be the method those feelings are expressed. I think that's what's going on with me, the wife has been cold for over 3 years, what's a guy to do? I tend to return to the ones that seem like they enjoy seeing me, that might also be why ive cut back on amp activity, which is more of a transaction than an encounter.
