Instant messaging?

The chat room feature is what they (vbulletin) tout as the closest thing to IM. There may be 3rd party add-on available that would work but that is a significant investment in not only the software, but the costs of the add-on software, hardware and support resources would likely not be acceptable unless they made everyone pay ....

On the flipside, making everyone "pay money" would have a dramatic effect on the number of sHandles, Mandles and associated bullshit......ijs

I think it would be awful. It "implies" instant contact and response and that is just not realistic.

I actually have to agree with Alli, on this one. (Btw, nice to see you posting again, lady!)

I would love it if it could be signed into/out of as needed, that way you never have to use it if you don't want to. That way it could sort of function like the "available now" on P411. You could sign on and gents could sign on and see who all's available and message for a session.

It would be great if such a thing could be implemented!
