It depends upon a lot of factors, but in general I try to plan a couple weeks out (at least a week) and so I typically wait at least a couple days to hear back. I never assume a lady is sitting doing nothing while waiting for someone to call/write, and I assume she will do a reasonable job of screening which may take a few days.

I work to respond promptly, being that I know many gents anticipate a response , just as I do.
E-mails I am a bit slower as most of my clientele will PM here or through P411.

I usually know several days in advance of when I want to play. I send out feelers to various ladies. Once I get a feel for who is available, I'll make my selection and let the lady know. I give her a day to respond back. This gives me time to go with plan B if needed.
