Was pm'd by a well respected lady on the board last night saying someone texted her saying he was me!

Is there something to be done with such low lifes????

She handled it properly by sending you a PM. She should post it in the Alerts section so that more people are aware that someone is trying to impersonate you.

If it was one of the notorious fakers, i'd be nice for others that they tried to impersonate meet him in a place to give him a special BCD.

It's happened to me twice so far, both by email. In both cases the girls were sharp enough to contact me first and we nipped that prick in the bud. Same guy - our perpetual hooker hater.

Just4fun, you'll do the community a favor by posting in the Alerts section that you're next up to be impersonated. I remind the ladies in my Alerts that I will never make initial contact with them in any other way but by PM.

I probably would have done the alert thing except the lady who told me didn't give me any info on him. Besides that she said she would alert the ladies this guy was a fake so that was good enough for me.

That is OK, J4F. A note simply stating that attempts were made to contact ladies using your name and stating how you actually conduct a first contact situation will be of significant benefit.
