Is there money to be made in pimping?
I'm thinking this may be a lucrative venture if I were to go in.
I figure if I can be fortunate enough to come across a young wide-eyed street walker who knows NOTHING about the internet, and convince her that I can get her more clientele via the internet (Backpage), up her rates, and negotiate a percentage of the increased rate, is it profitable?
I'm thinking furnishing a cheap 1 bedroom apartment about $450/month and up to $650 after expenses. I'll have 2 working girls and a female companion who will answer phones and also open the door for clients.
What are my pros and cons?

Pimping
I've read a few books on the subject of Pimping and I can tell you that it is not a luxury life.
There is much fighting and deception and manipulation and finding and keeping girls who won't rob you.
I think that kind of life style would wear you out very fast if it doesn't kill you before then!

yes, there's a "lifestyle" behind it but can't you just do it with strict business structure?
I guess in a nutshell I'm looking to start an "agency"

If I could open a casino with slot machines I would do it in a second. The providers are human and are suspect to many human flaws.
I am sure things will pop up that you haven't thought about, licenses, lawyers on retainer, bitchy neighbors in the complex griping about male visitors during all hours of the day, etc.
I would think it would be wise not to get involved in this business.
Beth, Billy, and Amazing John did business the right way, and right now AJ is in the pen, and Billy and Beth's lives will never be the same.

If you can add some value to the girls' sessions - then go for it.
Like if you are going to teach the ladies how to give a better BBBJ or how to take it Greek and smile the entire time, moaning and saying Oh Baby Oh aby....
Other than that I never understood what value a PIMP added for a provider - even the SWs.
and besides once you take Pygmalion out of the street and convert her to a wonderful provider - what will she need you for.....unless of course, you go back to my first statement, above.

I notice no ladies responded.
I'll be the first.
Why do that, do you really want to stressed to the MAX. The girls can and will rob you. And if you are married and trying to start an "agency" hope you have an understanding SO,or you can pull off having a double life. You will be a manager, a shrink, and sometimes their banker, if they spend all their damn money. I hope you have an abundance of patience times 100.
I could say more, but I dont want to offend the providers who have pimps. I dislike pimps very much. But if they find a woman who agrees with their terms, more power to them.
Don't guys get nervous if they know a provider has a pimp?

You're probably thinking easy money comes from being a pimp, but don't do it. Waste of time and energy. Leave it to someone else. Actually, I don't think pimps are really needed altogether. Just me though. I won't ever deal with a girl with a pimp.

There's a difference between a pimp and a manager. AFAIK, I never dealt with pimps, but managers I dealt with.
Some managers I dealt with in the past have been Beth, Billy, Junior, Chasity, Amazing John, Tiffany and Victoria (La Femme). Without knowing the inner workings of their business, I would never have considered any of these to be pimps.

To me...a manager is the same as a pimp...it only sounds better. I would advise staying away from it Mr. C

The folks Dear_John mentioned added value to the service; they provided screening, an incall location, supplies, marketing,
And if the ladies wanted to try flying solo for a while there didn't seem to be a problem; and the were welcome to come back to the fold.
Pimps - just take a girl's money; PROMISE protection (whatever) and use up the product!

TBone, I am not trying to change your mind, seriously.
BUT by your definition, every agency, tea house, AMP, nail salon, any place that charges a door fee, or has a manasan or location that is not a simple co-op (office sharing, where every girl pays her pro-rata share of expenses and keeps ALL her money) is run by PIMPS.
