Default Over Priced Beer.

What places have more overpriced beer than a strip club?

My answer is a Bill's game at The Ralph.

Any place that sells American beer.

I was born and raised here and even fought for this great country but the reason beer is served ice cold here is because the taste sucks.

Cold hides taste.

The big American breweries continue to pump out their swill because that's what the majority of Americans want and consume. However, with the proliferation of craft breweries the US has gone from making zero good beers to arguably brewing the worlds best. This all occured within the last 20 years. Pretty awesome. Now I still find an English real ale to suite my taste best but I'm glad I now don't have to travel there to get one.
As for over priced, any professional sporting event does so to help with the exorbitant salaries those guys make. I say don't go, watch at home. The beer is better and cheaper.

Some cheap bastard brought some Genny Screamers to a M&G in Canada. The Canucks thought it was the greatest thing since, well, canned beer. LOL The grass is always greener...I'll drink most anything if there's a pizza nearby.

But Major League Baseball might not even be the worst rip-offs.

The average beer prices at various pro sports stadiums are:

NFL $7.28
NBA $7.08
NHL $7.07
MLB $6.09

I'm a big fan of the english ales as well. It seems the craft industry in the US has caused the german brewers to rethink their adherance to the 1516 purity law. German breweries are experimenting with different flavors in response for a demand for it by German consumers. BTW, avoid the BECKS beer, It's now brewed in St.Louis and by all accounts is pretty bad. The becks dark was a favorite of mine, such a shame!
Screw the stadium prices for everything!! stay home , watch the game and see your favorite girl instead.

Jokacz -- are you referring to Genny Cream Ales???? Did he bring "pounders"????
Where do you even find "Screamers" anymore????? My college roommate and I made a Christmas Tree out of Genny Scream Ale cases..... I think you could buy a case of 16 ounce pounders for about $4.99 back in the day......

Why High Falls Brewery ever brought back Genesee Cream Ale is beyond me. I always thought the taste of it was lacking. The only worse tasting Beer I have ever had was Olympia out of Seattle in Washington State. That stuff tasted like canned dish water. At least High Falls finally brought back 12 Horse Ale. But it doesn't taste the same as it did in the old production batches. Which makes me think they changed the recipe (i.e cheaper ingredients). But back to the question of overpriced Beverages. The most overpriced Beverage in my opinion is "bottled Water". Using the prices from the PGA board above. Let's say $5.00 for a case of 24 bottles. You sell those 24 bottles at $3.00 a piece for a total of $72.00. Subtract your purchase cost and you end up with a profit of $67.00. Not bad for something that amounts to 3 Gallons of Water if it was coming out of your tap.
