Depends on your budget. For about $120/ night you can get a decent room at the Comfort Suites in Vestal. Nice place. Use Kayak or Trip Advisor to help you out.

120 for a Comfort Suites? meh.
I'm sure you can pay less for better if you stick to bidding around/for a 3-star or something Priceline maybe. Whatever "regular" rates I see there I try to bid at least 40% less than that.
Vast majority of the time I get something nice and fairly provider friendly
