Talking Like or dislike?

So there is a like button... why no dislike button? I know a lot of instances where I would have liked to use that LOL.. just sayin.

This software started out in 2000. We're lucky to even have a like button.

Well, this site is using version 3.8 of vBulletin, which is at, like, version 5 now. Maybe someone put a dislike button in one of those versions (using technology stolen from the crashed saucer in Roswell). It wouldn't take much work, but programmers are pretty lazy.

Yeah they probably dont want to update either because updating = downtime

Not necessarily. It's probably more like updating without downtime == they don't really give that much of a fuck.

Or another possibility would be, instead of hiding behind either a like or dislike button....

A poster could merely express their opinion via a post

Yeah, I'd like it to at least be like Facebook where you can see who is liking the posts. Sometimes I think there are people who post something and then like it 4-5 times themselves just to feel justified...

I agree Wiz, would be nice to see who likes a post. Would think if Facebook can do it, eccie could also.

Click "like" on a random post. Look at the "like" count. Then click "like" on the same post and look at the "like" count. You can only "like" something once.
