Ladies did you encounter a lot of newbies when you were new to the board? If so did you work with them? I'm just asking because since I've joined the board about a quarter of the men who've contacted me are "newbies" with no posts and no reviews. I can understand no reviews because someone people, including me, like to keep what goes on behind closed doors private, but no posts? It makes me skeptical about whether they are legit or not. If it was one or two guys I wouldn't even sweat it but out of 100 emails 25 are "newbies" with no reviews and no posts.

Have you considered Preferred 411?
I don't know what it takes for women to join, but newbie men generally need to provide a pay stub, phone bill, and ID.

As for how to deal with newbies, other ladies will need to give you that advice.

I would guess you are getting mostly newbs because more veteran guys are weary of new girls where as newbs have a harder time scheduling with veteran providers and are looking for anyone who will see them and less weary of new ladies.

That's why screening is so very important! Anyone can register an account here. (Guys are not vetted in any way...) Unfortunately, there are some guys who prey on new ladies and take advantage of them.

Yes I have and I am actually on P411. My account is pending activation right now. Yes screening is very importing and I appreciate all the providers who provide vouches on a timely manner. Thank you. I think you're right ztonk, I feel like it's guys registering and then emailing me under a bunch of different handles.

Nicole. there are guys who will register and never post and never review, they will just "Lurk" in the shadows and not contribute to the board. They will just "fish" to see if they get lucky and someone will see them.

You will also have 99 percent of these emails asking or even demanding pictures. These are the picture collectors who will then take your photos to work the next day and say "look at the hot chick I am banging!". This is a threat to your security if you send out face pictures.

Also the same with these types of emails demanding or asking for your phone number; major red flag.

I am glad to see that you have registered for p411, it is a good tool for you to use in your business.Your security is the upmost important thing to have.

If you say that 25 of 100 of your email traffic is from registered members but no posting and no review history, that would be a red flag to me as a provider. The first thing to come to my mind is "Why?" Why is this person trying to see me? It would light the caution button to me.

From your prospective as a businesswoman, this 25% of your email traffic can be handled by just politely saying, " I'm sorry, but for my security, at this time, I am unable to see you, but thank you for responding" or something to that effect.

And look at it this way; you have 75 other guys very very interested in meeting you!

Well. make that 76 now, I'll send you my P411 info and cross my fingers!

not posting does no mean Red Flag all the time,, just make their references check out..

on the P, I used it for 4 years before I even Registered and then after I registered I waited another 2 years to post.. and I NEVER had an issue getting an appointment..

now I agree on the pics, many dudes just want to whack off to it and or chat you up on the phone while they are jerking it..

just use some common sense and if it does not feel right then dont do it.. go with you Gut!!

Even though I have in my signiture that Im not newbie friendly they still pm me thinking I would give them a chance but nope. I have had guys who contact me with no post no reviews and to me its a red flag most of the time they do not have refrences so I will not see them, Id rather be safe than sorry. Good Luck Babe

Do not see someone who you are not comfortable seeing.

Screening is very important and necessary, it is your best way of protecting yourself from trouble.

If someone cannot provide you with adequate screening references or information do not see them.

Just because a guy has an account here does not make him a good/safe perspective client.

When you have your P411 account you will find it very beneficial.

You should also consider getting verified here on eccie I think that would give you access to the private women's only section which should contain some helpful information about this and other subjects.

You might also want to consider getting an incall location in Austin, alot of guys are not going to want to drive all the way to San Marcos when there are so many providers available in Austin.

In regard to red flags & lurkers, I beg to differ from the general concensus posted in this thread so far. I have many clients who are lurkers and have been with me for years. Those gents are generally more discreet, avoid board drama, are very respectful & not looking for discounts or special favors for posting reviews or being a WK.

The only drawback to seeing newbies for me is the desire to avoid making a guy feel I'm being intrusive or putting his privacy at risk due to his initial reaction to requesting personal info for screening. I have many more reviews out in cyberspace which means I have literally hundreds of vouches for being legit. To a newbie, that could be somewhat overwhelming or even scare him off! *yikes* The gut instinct is definitely something you should tune into, but also pay attention to speech patterns. If he's nervous, probe to find out if it's due to the new experience or does he have something to hide? If you're not really sure about seeing him after talking on the phone, don't. If he really is interested in you, he'll keep trying or go w/ someone eles & come back when he has a ref. Either way, you gain experience in "reading" potential clients and may end up w/ a loyal customer in the future.

So, just remember that there are good clients via more than one channel of contact. Referrals to other men by regulars is another valuable source I've recently discovered. Thanks to you guys who rave to your friends. LOL Rascals! You're supposed to be DISCREET! SPANK YOURSELVES!!

One problem with newbies is a lot of veteran girls do not see anyone without them reviewing someone for their own protection. As stated on a previous post the vets are very careful due to their security. Its hard to be a noobie due tot he fact its harder for them to see the vet girls since they have no reviews so they go after the newer providers it seems. Kind of a catch 22.

That being said... your safety is of utmost importantance. If you dont feel comfortable then dont do it. Trust your spidey sense!

As an ad on note. Being a newbie yourself you are expecting us veteran guys to trust you are legit and offer good services. Newbie guys knowing this probably assume that a newbie provider can empathize with their situation and they can both help each other get more Cred.

But the catch there is this. What is the first thought that comes into your mind when you see a review from a first time recently joined poster on a brand new untested provider?
