So I am a complete newbie who has finally worked up the courage to reach out to a provider via email. She has asked me for references, but I have none. How can I convince her that I am legit? We all have to start somewhere... I look forward to your replies. Thanks.

That's a tough road to hoe. No pun intended. Some of the more senior members may be able to provide names. Look at reviews and start sending texts. Katie the house cleaner would be a good one to start with. IMHO

Go to Canada where you need no screening or references. Many fine ladies up there. Then review them to establish some credibility here and then things will get better for you here.

If you can just satisfy my curiosity, why this provider? What made you chose her as your first?

I ask because I'm the stubborn sort, no f'ing way I'm going Canada to qualify to do business with a lady here, and if she's requiring a reference I usually would too, but she probably has reviews, a website, and is hosting an incall. I think of my first, it was an agency, no help there. Why this girl?

I'll probably get roasted for saying this, but if it must be this provider, perhaps there is some info you can give out safely to assure her? Some guys refuse to do this, some have less to lose.

If she requires references and you don't have any then you're probably out of luck unless she's willing to go the screening route. Many guys don't like screening because you'll have to hand over some personal info.

Tell her you are new and don't have references yet. She may have an alternate verification method that's not too invasive for you. Worst case you'll have to tell her you will see her later after meeting some others.

And review, review, review. Establish some cred by reviewing everyone you see.... good, bad, indifferent... and hopefully..... Exceptional!!

Thanks all. Unfortunately I did go the verification route and sent her my work info(which is waaaay out of my comfort zone). To make matters worse, she never followed up with me after I divulged that info. Ideally want to see Natasha, but am excited to meet Frankie.

Thanks guys... And while I did give my work number I was being facetious about CC and SSN. I appreciate the help, you guys have been great. How about a quick remedial tutorial about the first 5 minutes of a provider encounter??? What do I do, where do I put donation, and any other words of wisdom. I'm still pretty nervous...

Enjoy the anticipation.

Be yourself, or someone better, if necessary. If she's a pro, she'll know your nervous and help you, so don't pretend you're old hat.

Donation delivery depends on the provider. I wish we'd pay after services are rendered, and I've managed to get away with that recently, though its not easy. I doubt you can as your lady seems to hold the upper hand, in all due respect. For safety's sake, the donation should be placed somewhere, rather than handed directly to.

A lot of folks do an LE grope, figuring if you will touch genetalia you're not LE, but I guess that's not foolproof and probably not high end behavior. I usually show up with evidence of being a criminal to put her at ease, bloody shirt, orange jumpsuit, no shoes, broken handcuff on one wrist, and ask if she has a hacksaw.

I'm kidding on that last part, but do smile and have a few jokes chambered to ease her spirits and yours. And from the moment you leave to meet her, think and behave as if what you are doing is absolutely proper and natural, because it is. Lie to yourself if you have to. Have fun.

That is all good advice.
Good to see there are some newer members of this board that are truly interested in helping others and sharing information. Lot's of formerly helpful souls have found a new accusatory agenda and been less than informative, let alone helpful lately.
