Need some insight on adding a "members only" section to my website..

Hey everyone! I have a question for both the ladies & guys about something I've been thinking about for a while now--

Sometimes on an "adult entertainer's" website you might come across a "members only" section, where you can view additional pics & videos & that might be too explicit to have on their main photos page or in their ads..

Some ladies don't show their faces like me so would this also be a perk for paying for premium content?

Have any of you guys ever paid for premium content on a provider/cam girl/porn star's website? Was it a one time deal or was it reoccurring & she would update her pics and vids every month? I have seen a few cam girls advertising to sell pic and video packages (typically 20-50 pics and 2-5 videos) anywhere from $10 to $100...

Ladies... Have any of you ever had or still have a paid members section on your website? Is it a pretty successful idea? Anything you would or would not do?

my personal opinion is that it's worthless... I can't imagine paying for a Porn Star's "premium" photos, when I can pull up free videos of any and every kind of girl, doing anything imaginable, within a minute...

i don't pay for porn anymore, not with sites like xhampster, redtube, etc. not sure why anyone would pay for it when there is so much free content available

If there was no or little initial cost then I would say go for it, there will be some to hesitant to pull the trigger but will cough up a small fee to take a peep so to say. Not sure they would keep paying monthly but may get a few takers a month or so...
I'm not sure the pay off would be significant so depending on cost in the long term it may end up being a wash or loss.

I don't see the appeal, either, unless some guys get a kick watching porn involving someone they know. Give me pornhub, et al, when the urge hits to see some explicit action.

Would a members-only page be useful for you to communicate specials, short-notice availability, or something else you may want to share only with guys you've cleared? It wouldn't be a pay site, but perhaps it could be useful in broadcasting (or rather, narrowcasting) information to a smaller group than you would by posting an Eccie or P411 ad.

Just brainstorming...may not be an idea worth considering, and definitely not the game-changer you're looking for.

Savannah, I see what you're thinking here but how safe would these "Premium" sites be showing your face and other visuals you don't show in your Showcase/Ads/Website?

I ask "safe" because it is getting easier and easier to download pics/videos of anything you want and share them with people you may not want to see them.

They are a nuisance. There's no need to go more explicit. Your pictures are great already. Plus it's best to leave a little something to the imagination.

I could be wrong. The famous and very bright Taylor4Ply of ASPD took this membership/video thing to a whole new level. She was constantly expanding her library. Maybe there were hobbyist who had seen her, but coudn't get around to actually visiting her anymore for whatever reason. This could give them more personalized "beat off" material. It might be worth a shot.

I think when T4P did it, though, the proliferation of free porn sites had not yet occurred. I'm just not sure it could work today.

If it doesn't cost anything to set up, however, there is no harm in giving it a shot. Keep expectations low, and if it ends up taking off you'll be one happy camper!

But u can charge to skype. That should fill the void ur looking at here. And ya, pics posted anywhwre online are NOT private. Some troll gets premium access on ur site, gets the media and shares it with all his online buddies so he can be the big man for 5 seconds. Cmon girl. This ain't your first rodeo. You should already know that. Just charge for a skype show and keep your face out of the frame. If they wanna see your face they can pay to come see you and look at it then. Good luck

I don't visit too many of the Ladies websites because most or many websites are not updated frequent enough, have private locked folders, has rates that don't correspond with her recent advertised rates on eccie, P411, and cater to her regulars with Pic's and special rates. (your pictures and info in those folders are not as secure as you might think) when i see that, it tells me that she don't need any new clients, and move on. She don't even know she lost a customer.

when i am doing my research on eccie with showcase, Ad's, and reviews. P411 profile, activities, and AD Board. that is usually enough to make an informed decision.

The only thing i do like about websites (if updated) is the touring ladies availability calender. (wish they would include the area of incall)
