Most often means a more or less equal exchange or substitution of goods or services. English speakers often use the term to mean "a favor for a favor"....

I was having a conversation with a client, whom booked with me off of P411, and had ample "OK's". We got onto the discussion of "reviews" here on ECCIE, and he was very adamant about "I don't post reviews, PERIOD"....

Got me to thinking... I have been hounded for days by clients wanting me to "ok" them on P411... and I have logged on and done so. (In particular by the said client mentioned above!!) Full well knowing that if I asked him to do me the same favor by posting a review, I would be told NO. I have plenty of reviews, but what if I wanted to "freshen the stats" so to say, with a new review? So, now I am feeling like the Quid pro quo is lacking a little.....

Does this happen often to others? Or even, the other way around? Do some providers hold out on giving "OK's"? Is it really a UTR thing? (like your wife won't find out about P411, but will see a review and know it's you

) Or, is it just lazy?

I really wouldn't mind if a provider didn't want to give me an ok because I wouldn't write a review.

However I would mind if she wouldn't allow me to use her as a reference because I won't write a review. I have always recommended ladies I've seen to others via other means besides reviews. The least she could do is give me the same courtesy

The difference is that P411 is free for you on the condition that you give OKs. Our membership here is not conditional on writing reviews. Two different sites, two different terms of use from two different ends of the hobby spectrum.

This is what I was thinking as well.

Besides if you think about it do you want a review from a guy that doesn't want to write it? I've been hounded by this girl I saw a year ago or so about a review just this month she asked me for a review on a session that took place last year again. Can't say at this point the review would help her.

And to answer your question about providers holding out on giving OKs, they can't unless there are legitimate reasons for her to withhold, i.e. short/stiff on the donation, harassment, violence, etc. Any time a provider has flaked on the OK, I've emailed the staff at P411 and they've disabled her account until she gave it.

an ok is also just a click of the button for you, whereas for a review you have to write a story that will appease the guys who give you all kinds of shit if your review doesn't read like a penthouse forum story.

I understand they are two different sites... my point being... favor for a favor.. we providers give ok's and it makes your screening process that much easier, a review helps a provider as well in different ways. I have held out on an ok before, even when being tattle taled on... just because he didn't short me on a donation or conduct a violent behavior doesnt mean the dude isnt weird as fuck!!! Giving an ok is like saying I would see him again and that he is "ok". Just booking a session doesnt EARN you an ok.
I am only asking because it got me to thinking... would I want a review by someone not interested in doing it?? Not at all...
But in return you would think a provider shouldnt be hounded daily for an ok.

My point is that OKs aren't a "favor"; they're a condition of your (free) use of an excellent screening resource. Some of these guys are paying almost 200 to be on that same site.

I'm sure other ladies feel the same as you. Still, it takes big balls to have guys pay you $300 per hour and then getting publicly pissed that they don't do you the "favor" of writing a review. As for P411 okays, you should give them based on how the guy treated you, not on whether he does a review. Now, if you're giving out free sessions, then I could understand why you are pissed. That's my 2 cents.

I am not saying the ok is conditional based on a review... was merely asking how others felt about being hounded daily by guys/providers who dont contribute. I am not asking for a review... obviously you did some research, so I know you saw that I have plenty to work with.
This really isnt about me bitching about a client who wont review me... its an open minded question that is a little more broad than you make it seem. I am not pissed, never said an angry word, merely asked a general question. I would think reviews help the guys as well.. how else will word of good and bad providers alike get around.. isnt that the purpose of this board?

I believe if you've seen a client via P411 you are obligated to give him an OK,
unless in some way he proved himself to be an ass and in that case you
need to inform P411 what happened w/the client. If the client reports that he has
asked you to give him an OK and you refuse you will be in trouble w/P411 your account
may get revoked.

It's really simple if you play in the P411 sandbox you play by the P411 rules.

The client does not have to hound you every day for an OK, all he
has to do is report and let P411 know you are not willing to give him
an OK and P411 will handle you for him.

Really Abigail it does seem as if you are asking for a review in return of giving a client an OK
atleast it's the way i'm reading and i'm reading from left to right.
Why don't you just give the guy an Ok? He's paying P411 for a service the same way he paid you, right?

And by the way asking for a review is like asking for a tip it's very tacky IMO

Since you want to know our thoughts, I will tell you. If a guy has to hound you daily for a P411 okay, I assume that means you don't feel comfortable recommending him. If that is the case, perhaps just tell him. But that may be more trouble than it's worth, so you let it go on and on.

Also, I think your definition of contributing is a little whacked out. Your clients may not be contributing reviews, but they are contributing to your bank account. Is showing them a little thanks by taking 20 seconds to give them an okay really such a hardship for you?
