Valentine's Day

I would like to hear a providers perspective on Valentine's Day. I'm sure some of you providers have a few special clients that probably go out of their way to book and appointment on this day and maybe even bring each other a little something extra special. I am also wondering if you also notice a slight decrease in business because clients are perhaps busy celebrating this day with their SO?

So lets hear it ladies, is today normally a busy day or a slower day for you?

This year I celebrated early with Anita. A treat for all three of us!

I think I have almost always seen a decrease on the 14th, and can almost always anticipate some type of extended work call during the week of the 14th, although it varies in style each year.

This has worked best for me, too, because I am a single parent. I always enjoy Valentine's Day at home with the family.

I worked in a bar for years. The owner always asked why it was so slow on Valentine's Day.
I told him that our LOSER customers couldn't get dates....
And they don't come in because they don't want us to think they can't get dates.
(He also owned a liquor store -- and I told him he'd have a banner day selling liquor to all his loser bar customers).

The strangest thing happened to me yesterday. I was actually thinking about seeing a provider yesterday. I figured that my faves would be busy with their S.O.'s, so I didn't bother. Then I got a text from my current ATF (utr) girl. She was drunk, horny and lonely (all alone on V-Day.) She was thrilled that I would see her on short notice. Ended up with two plus hours for the normal hourly rate. And we both ended up very happy on Valentines Day after all
