Did anyone see the news story on WO@I about "operation blue ice"
Said 45 "johns" & 5 "prostitutes" were arrested
They targeted SW & online "prostitues"
The sting happened on 1/11/13

Strange though, for a sting supposedly targeting human traffickers, I dont see any of the 45 people arrested as having been arrested for trafficking. Guess the police aren't doing a very good job...

Their targets for traffickers were the girls. I'm pretty sure they were leaning on them kind of hard to fess up any leads.

Just found this thread after reading the report on a news site.

Interesting to note they are publishing some of the names, and photos, of men charged with solicitation.

These individuals are as yet not convicted of any crime, and so it is likely they may be able to file for damages due to the negative publicity. OC that would only have purchase if the charges are dropped, or the case goes against the DA.

Notice no trafficking discovered! And so, no arrests for it.

Hmmmm a waste of public money?

Meanwhile the victims of car burglary on the west side, Vance Jackson for example, continue to park in store lots along I 410 with great and justified fear that their cars will be broken into again.

Perhaps Bexar Co Sheriff should consider creative arrests so a couple of these thieves get shot in the yahooo?
