Three Years Of Fun And Games

Well, we're coming up on the third anniversary of our move here from the old board. We've had some ups and downs. More than a few of our friends have gone down in flames or are MIA. I discovered that there was piss in the Kool-Aid and did a 180 in my attitude re the hobby. Anyone care to comment on the state of this place we call home? (Please keep the whining about missing hookers to a minimum ;-)

To me, the board is serving its main purpose of "information exchange". I wish there were more "coed" bantering, but I understand what the first C in ECCIE stands for. As least it is still a "community" of people with a common interest. Just as in our "real" world, we have to live with the usual mixed bag of sages, bullies and wise guys, but the anonymity does exacerbate certain behavior.

I think that, IMHO, we continue to grow/build/flourish/ and occasionally get tripped up but that for good or bad, the good is outweighing the bad!

Honestly, more and more of the actual Gents and Ladies are becoming backbenchers and lurkers/just ad posters. Us squeaky wheels are pretty much the only ones left.
I never took this site seriously because of the boys club demeanor. I appreciate and adore my regulars, ATFs, SD, and new friends I meet here, I take them seriously. Without messing around on this site (only for shits and giggles bored in my office) I never would have bothered with local Gents, Rochester, or Syracuse. I am so happy that I did, I have made amazing friends and regulars in those cities.
I am beyond lucky and grateful that I have become more fortunate as a result of this board. Not only am I more fortunate, I get to spend more time with my amazing family and friends in WNY.
I am happy that I decided to be a part of this board.

Oh, a little of each I guess. As far as this place goes, I got a big kick out of the "One Big Happy Family" of hookers blowing up in their faces. Also, how much shit some guys are willing to put up with for a little barebacking. Which, of course, no one here would ever do. And with very rare exceptions, when you remove money from the mix, there is not a lot of "friendship" left.
